The Hull and Why of it All

Leaving home can be a traumatic time for students - new places, new faces and a loss of the comfort blanket of familiarity. It can also be traumatic for the parents as well - wondering if the accommodation is alright? Is it clean and dry and safe? The fear is that it will be some Dickensian style hovel with students packed into a basement room with no windows and a single, naked light bulb.

When our daughter went to university, we also worried about whether or not she would be able to afford to keep warm during those dark, icy winter evenings and nights.

This is why we created this property.
